The ethics of care as a pedagogical approach: Implications for education for democratic citizenship

Both education for democratic citizenship and human rights tend to emphasise political legal learning. In both moral in Japan, however, there has been a tendency give particular attention interpersonal elements of learning such as kindness sympathy.
