The Electoral Performance of Afghan Political Parties: A Comparative Analysis

This article aims to examine the electoral results of two Afghan political groups in former and post-Taliban periods Afghanistan. The study's main objective is evaluate victories Social Democratic Party (Afghan Mellat) Jamiat-e Islami Afghanistan (the Islamic Society Afghanistan). Basic, deductive, comparative analysis used study, which mostly conducted by examining primary secondary data that are already accessible. In order get a conclusion, study examines how parties listed above have changed historically looks into their organizational structure, communication plans, clientele relationships. explains conclusion with connections prominent local figures—Mujahidin ethnic leaders substantial support bases—generally do better elections than organizations less connections. Accordingly, Mellat, has poor relationships notables, Mujahidin leaders, experiencing success Afghanistan, strong ties leaders. Building provides platform for bolstering financial resources, important elements increasing possibility electoral/party victory.
