چکیده
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of using whole wheat in choice feeding on performance, egg quality, and income laying hens. In study, a total 160-Hyline W-80 white commercial hens aged 28 weeks were divided into four treatment groups fed for 84 days. The as follows: 1) Control (C, standard hen feed), 2) C feed+choice continuously with separate cup (CW), 3) feed+weekly intermittent (WW), 4) continuous wheat+limestone together (WL). Choice by methods (continuous, weekly intermittent, limestone) caused significant decrease live weight change (P<0.01), increased feed consumption, conversion ratio compared control group (P<0.05). Total yield not affected (P>0.05). eggshell weight, thickness, shell per unit area, yolk color (P<0.01). However, it did significantly affect ratio, surface albumen height, Haugh values eggs Also, production costs, sales income, net profit similar all conclusion, performance economic parameters negatively; however, reductions some quality values.
