چکیده
Introduction: No definitive treatment is available for Lupus. Moringaoleiferais one of promisingnovel treatments in Lupus trough anti inflammation and immunosupresion. Mean platelet volume andneutrophil to lymphocyte ratio used measure degree lupus activities.
Objective: Our study wasaimed identify the effect Moringaoleiferaextract on neutrophil lupus.
Methods: This experimental was conducted 30 patients, located rheumatology clinic at Moewardi General Hospital January-March 2019. The studygroup divided into two groups: research group received 2 grams moringa extractper day placebo group. 4 weeks evaluated when thestudy completed. MPV NLR examination using a hemocytometer. Statistical analysis wasperformed paired T test, independent T-test. p value considered significant < 0.05.
 Results: results showed decrease (delta = 4.141; r 0.656; p-0.02) anda Neurophil lymfocyte 4.1391; 0.489; p-0.04)
Conclusion: Thestudy demonstrated Moringaoleiferaleaf extract reduced lupus

متن کاملComparing the mean platelet volume and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in children with bacterial pneumonia associated with and without pleural empyema
Background: Pneumonia is one of the severe infections in children, and empyema is one of its essential complications which causes more risk in affected children. Therefore, its early diagnosis is of great importance. Objective: This study aims to compare the value of two inflammatory markers including mean platelet volume (MPV) and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in children with pneumoni...

INTRODUCTION Peritonsillar abscess is a serious infectious disease of the tonsillar tissue. Treatment generally requires both medical and surgical approaches to relieve the symptoms. Recently, in addition to clinical follow-up, some inflammatory markers, such as the mean platelet volume and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, have been considered to be additional inflammatory monitoring markers in ...

Background: Recently, Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), Platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and Mean platelet volume (MPV) have become increasingly useful as predictive and prognostic tools in patients with various medical conditions. To make for easy interpretation and application, the reference values of these parameters in healthy adults need to be established in our environment. Objectives: To...
