The Effect of Different Tuber Sizes on The Yield and Some Agricultural Characters of Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) Under Sanliurfa Conditions

This study will aimed to determine the optimum tuber sizes (4-5 and 7-8 cm) some agricultural characteristics of Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa cv. ‘Double’) under conditions Sanliurfa in Southeastern Anatolia Turkey during summer growing season 2019. The trial arrange randomized complete block design with three replicates. In study, besides phenologic observations such as emergence date (14-22 days), days opening first floret (0-69 flowering period (0-163 vegetation time (213 – 240 days) bulb harvest (234-253 days); plant height (24.20-56.72 cm), number spikes (0-1 number/plant), florets (22.10-26,95 floret/spike), mature circumference lenght (12.46-14.70 tubers (10.33-18.66), new investigated. JMP-SAS software use for statistical analyses.
