The Effect Combination of Commercial Feed with Azolla Microphylla on Feed Conversion Ratio and Feed Efficiency of Tilapia Fish (Oreochromis niloticus)

Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of the prospective freshwater fish producers to be developed in Indonesia. fishcommodities that has received great attention from fisheries because itis easy breed, grows fast, and tolerant unfavorable environments. One ofthe problems tilapia farmersis high feed cost. The factor affects growth nutritional content feed. To increase thegrowthoftilapia,qualityfeedisneeded.Oneeffortthatcanbedonetoincreasethe by combining commercial with A.microphylla. Thisstudyusedacompletelyrandomizeddesign(CRD)with4treatments,eachtreatment was repeated 5 times, a treatment design P0 (100% pelleted feed),P1(75% feedwith25%A.microphylla),P2(50% pellet with50%A.microphylla,P3(25% feedwith75%A.microphylla).Thevariablesobserved were Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) efficiency. results ofstatistical analysis showed combination resulted significantlydifferent efficiency (p < 0.05). FeedConversion higher P3 (2.1405) lowerdecreaseinP0(1.2296).Tilapiafeedefficiencywithahigherincreaseintreatment (81%) lower decrease (43%). Values for range ofwater quality vi parameters obtained temperature 27.5 – 30.5 °C, pH 6.5-7.9,DO4 -5 mg/l, ammonia 0 mg/l.
