چکیده
Objective: To compare the micro-shear bond strengths of 3 different universal adhesives to 2 calcium silicate-based materials. Methods: A hole was prepared in center top surfaces 60 cylindrical acrylic blocks, and blocks were randomly divided into groups (n=30) according biomaterial filling; NeoMTA Plus (Avalon Biomed Inc. Bradenton, FL, USA) ProRoot MTA (Dentsply Tulsa, OK, USA). Biomaterials manufacturers’ instructions. The sample flattened after initial setting, samples incubated for 24h at 37°C. After placing biomaterials holes, specimens subgroups (n=10) adhesive; G-Premio Bond (GC Corp., Tokyo, Japan), All-Bond Universal (Bisco, Inc., Schaumburg, IL, Single (3M ESPE, St Paul, MN, Adhesives applied polymerized. micro-hybrid composite resin (Filtek Z250, 3M then placed on specimen Micro-shear tested using a testing device (LRX, Lloyd Instruments, Farnham, UK). Shapiro-Wilk test confirmed normal distribution, 2-way ANOVA used statistical analysis. Result: No significant differences found shear any either materials (p>0.05). Conclusion: results indicate that acidity adhesive does not affect strength

Bond Strength of Calcium Silicate-Based Sealers to Dentine Dried with Different Techniques
OBJECTIVE To assess the influence of various canal-drying techniques on the push-out bond strength between radicular dentine and both MTA Fillapex and iRoot SP sealers. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eighty extracted single-root teeth were instrumented with ProTaper Universal rotary instruments to a size F4. The teeth were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 groups as follows: group 1, excess fluid in the can...
متن کاملBond strength of a calcium silicate-based sealer tested in bulk or with different main core materials.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of a calcium silicate-based sealer (iRoot SP), with or without a core material, on bond strength to radicular dentin, in comparison with various contemporary root filling systems. Root canals of freshly extracted single-rooted teeth (n = 60) were instrumented using rotary instruments. The roots were randomly assigned to one of the following ex...

Materials and Methods: 15 single rooted premolars were selected and middle portion of each root was sectioned perpendicular to the long axis to produce two discs of 2.00 ± 0.05 mm thickness using a diamond disk. 30 root slices were produced and canal lumen was widened using Gates Glidden drills to produce standardized internal diameter of 1.3mm and root sections were filled with ERRM, MTA and B...
متن کاملInfluence of dentin pretreatment on bond strength of universal adhesives
Objective: The purpose of the present study was to compare bond strength of different universal adhesives under three different testing conditions: when no pretreatment was applied, after 37% phosphoric acid etching and after glycine application. Materials and methods: One hundred and fifty bovine permanent mandibular incisors were used as a substitute for human teeth. Five different universal ...
