چکیده

To clarify association of epidermal growth factor receptor, human receptor 2 with prognosis colorectal cancer under FOLFOX chemotherapy. A total 108 patients chemotherapy in the hospital from October 2017 to 2019 were chosen as research subjects. The baseline data recorded before treatment and levels serum tumor markers carcino embryonic antigen carbohydrate 125 measured recorded. After 6 courses chemotherapy, was observed. effective included good group remaining ones poor group. laboratory indicators assessed between two groups evaluated. Among completing 18 (16.67 %) had complete response, 29 (26.85 partial 37 (34.26 stable disease 24 (22.22 progressive 56.48 % (61/108) prognosis. Carcino antigen, 125, presented elevation relative those group, statistical significance (p<0.05). Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that (odds ratio >1, p<0.05). receiver operating curve area alone combination predict 0.709, 0.766 0.828, respectively, all which certain predictive value. up regulation may be a risk for unfavourable can used predicting

Altered Expression of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) in Glioma

EGFR is a key molecule in cancer cells. EGFR signaling was shown to promote tumor cell proliferation and survival, invasion and angiogenesis and mediate resistance to treatment, including ionizing radiation in preclinical models. We extracted proteins from astrocytoma (III and IV) oligodendroglioma(IV) tumors and normal brain tissues and then evaluated the protein purity by Bradford test ...

Breast Carcinoma; Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2 (HER-2) and Grading Correlation

Introduction: Overexpression of Human Epidermal Growth factor Receptor-2 (HER-2) is one of the most important prognostic and predictive factors of breast cancer, observed in 25% - 30% of breast carcinoma patients leading to poor prognosis and feasible anti HER-2 antibody drugs. The objective of this study was to evaluate the HER-2 frequency in target population and its correlat...

Assessment of epidermal growth factor receptor status in glioblastomas

Objective(s): Our previous study showed that a newly designed tracer radioiodinated 6-(3-morpholinopropoxy)-7-ethoxy-4-(3'-iodophenoxy)quinazoline ([125I]PYK) is promising for the evaluation of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) status and prediction of gefitinib treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. EGFR is over-expressed and mutated also in glioblastoma. In the present study, the ...

human epidermal growth factor receptor expression in colorectal cancer and its relationship with clinicopathological characteristics

background: some recent studies reported human epidermal growth factor receptor (her-2/neu) as a marker that can be used in immunological studies of colorectal carcinoma for predicting the prognosis and the treatment. therefore, we aimed to investigate the frequency of her-2 expression in patients with colorectal cancer, and explore the relationship between clinicopathological prognostic factor...

Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor

A monoclonal antibody to the epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor of A431 cells, denoted 2Dl-IgM, was generated after fusion of immunized BALB/c mouse spleen cells with SpZ/O-Ag14 myeloma cells, Specific binding of 2D1-IgM to the A431 cell-surface receptor for EGF was demonstrated by indirect immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and immunoblot analysis. Scatchard analysis of lz6I-EGF bi...
