The analysis of differences at Binary Image in COVID-19 and ARDS Patients from chest X-Ray examination

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19), a viral infection that was discovered at the end of December in Wuhan, China. The spread and transmission this is very fast even to all countries world. Meanwhile, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) an emergency condition field pulmonology occurs due fluid accumulation alveoli causes gas exchange disorders so oxygen distribution tissues were reduced. In study, Chest X-Ray (CXR) image processing done COVID-19 ARDS patients with aim analyzing differences binary using Otsu Thresholding method. This study prioritizes improving quality original CXR by segmentation calculating Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) Mean Square Error (MSE) values. results showed difference between images lies extent spread, varies depending on length time has invaded not it starts from alveolus, while tends be constant lungs. lower part lung, specifically alveoli. ©2022 JNSMR UIN Walisongo.
