The A'ingae Co-Occurrence Constraint

چکیده
Many OT frameworks have been proposed to account for co-occurrence phenomena, including agreement as correspondence (Rose & Walker, 2004) and total partial identity (Gallagher Coon, 2009). However, aggressive reduplication (Zuraw, 2002) is best able new data from A'ingae, it accounts between whole syllables rather than individual segments. In this paper, I put forward novel a language isolate spoken by approximately 1,500 people in Ecuador Colombia. then describe how the can be accounted using Zuraw's (2002) reduplication, with only minor modifications. Finally, consider historical motivations existence of type pattern.

Models of Co-occurrence
A model of co occurrence in bitext is a boolean predicate that indicates whether a given pair of word tokens co occur in corresponding regions of the bitext space Co occurrence is a precondition for the possibility that two tokens might be mutual translations Models of co occurrence are the glue that binds methods for mapping bitext correspondence with methods for estimating translation models ...
متن کاملSpatiotemporal Co-occurrence Rules
Spatiotemporal co-occurrence rules (STCORs) discovery is an important problem in many application domains such as weather monitoring and solar physics, which is our application focus. In this paper, we present a general framework to identify STCORs for continuously evolving spatiotemporal events that have extended spatial representations. We also analyse a set of anti-monotone (monotonically no...

متن کاملConsonant Co-Occurrence in Stems across Languages: Automatic Analysis and Visualization of a Phonotactic Constraint
In this paper, we explore the phenomenon of Similar Place Avoidance (SPA), according to which successive consonants within stems sharing the same place of articulation are avoided. This principle has recently been hypothesized as a universal tendency although evidence from only a few languages scattered across the world has been considered. Using methods taken from the field of Visual Analytics...
