The essay is devoted to an analysis of aesthetic views one the most distinguished German Romantics, which came through with particular fullness in his fiction. Hoffmann’s focus around understanding art. He convinced that art has anagagogical nature. It elevates human being from everyday life sphere divine and thereby ennobles itself.
