The Active Fire Protection Prototype for Household-Scale Kitchen Based on Silica Gel from Rice Husk Ash

This study aims to create a fire protection design in the kitchen with technology that is easily applied along inexpensive extinguishing media using silica gel from rice husk ash. By an experimental method, active of area uses compartmentalization equipped gas stove, equipment, as well specially designed equipment components. The composition air compartment calculated based on volume so it can represent coverage oxygen and fuel accordance conditions free air, while used extraction ash KOH 0,5M solvent. From results this study, for gel-based kitchens made effectively easy install area.
