TTF-Based Mixed-Valence Acceptor-Donor-Acceptor Triads: A Joint Theoretical and Experimental Approach
This work presents a joint theoretical and experimental characterization of the structural and electronic properties of two tetrathiafulvalene (TTF)-based acceptor-donor-acceptor triads (BQTTF-BQ and BTCNQ-TTF-BTCNQ, where BQ is naphthoquinone and BTCNQ is benzotetracyano-p-quinodimethane) in their neutral and reduced states. The study is performed making use of electrochemical, electron parama...
متن کاملDecomposition of fluorophosphoryl diazide: a joint experimental and theoretical study.
The photolytic and thermal decomposition of fluorophosphoryl diazide, FP(O)(N3)2, was studied using matrix isolation spectroscopy. Upon ArF laser photolysis (λ = 193 nm), FPO and a new geminal azido nitrene FP(O)(N3)N were identified using matrix IR spectroscopy. The nitrene shows a triplet ground state with the zero-field parameters |D/hc| = 1.566 cm(-1) and |E/hc| = 0.005 cm(-1). Further deco...
متن کاملExperimental and theoretical characterization of a new Schiff-base ligand
Here, new N,N′-dipyridoxyl(4,4''-diaminodiphenylether) Schiff-base ligand has been synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H NMR and mass spectrometry. Also, geometry optimization and theoretical assignment of IR spectrum of the ligand have been computed by employing density functional theory (DFT) method. Two pyridine rings and benzene rings in the bridge region are not in the same plane. The ca...
متن کاملQuantum triads: an algebraic approach
A concept of quantum triad and its solution is introduced. It represents a common framework for several situations where we have a quantale with a right module and a left module, provided with a bilinear inner product. Examples include Van den Bossche quantaloids, quantum frames, simple and Galois quantales, operator algebras, or orthomodular lattices.
متن کاملA Parallel Prolog Execution Model Theoretical Approach and Experimental Results
This paper presents a parallel all-solution extension of Prolog integrating AND parallelism and a restricted form of OR parallelism, both explicitly declared by the user. Parallel sub-goals may share variables and incrementally communicate partially instantiated terms via their common variables, thus allowing stream AND parallelism. Furthermore, the communication direction does not need to be d...
