چکیده

Increasing the maximum speed limit of suspended monorails, which became a very popular means auxiliary transport, is one aspects improving efficiency work in underground coal mines. It especially important to enable higher (than allowed by law) travel speed, when moving crew and from workplace, often distant shaft, can take more than hour travel. this will make it possible extend effective working time miners, should have positive impact on economics mine. However, driving at also associated with increased risk negative dynamic overload people, e.g., during emergency braking monorail. The concept sequential was developed order avoid excessive deceleration affecting passengers operator monorail, as well minimize loads acting rail suspensions roadway support frames, could cause serious accidents. assumptions regard new method are innovative area related hard mining, where there currently no such solutions. According principles concept, total force divided into two stages. activation second stage depends measured after delay first braking. We present results numerical simulations, aimed analyze changing parameters algorithm deceleration, time, distance. possibility downward high inclination angle were taken account simulations. Use enables optimization process used. This aspect increasing safety for people travelling limit. simulations provide knowledge terms braking, without injury miners or damage equipment.

Study on Braking Panels in High Speed Trains Using CFD

With speed increasing in high-speed trains, due to limitations of other types of brakes, aerodynamic brake has become an important braking method. In this task to make better use of brake’s panel different configurations are examined and the best panel shape which provides the reasonable drag coefficient is introduced. The results of simulations are carried out with the computational fluid dyna...

Braking Bad: Stopping Translation in Hard Times

A typical bacterial cell may contain tens of thousands of ribosomes, each one a tiny but intricate clamshell structure of two subunits, one large and one small. When times are good, they spool along mRNAs, translating each codon into an amino acid that’s incorporated into a growing polypeptide to make the thousands of different proteins needed for cellular life. Between the two halves of the cl...

Optimized Braking Force Distribution during a Braking-in-Turn Maneuver for Articulated Vehicles

Improvement in braking performance and vehicle stability can be achieved through the use of braking systems whose brake force distribution is variable. Electronic braking force distribution has an important and serious role in the vehicle stopping distance and stability. In this paper a new approach will be presented to achieve the braking force distribution strategy for articulated vehicles. F...
