چکیده
The assessment of the saphenofemoral junction (SFJ) is important in diagnosis and treatment venous reflux great saphenous vein (GSV). In clinical practice medicine, SFJ used to represent region at which arch connects with common femoral (CFV). A number notable variations have been documented, rare variable courses GSV described recently. Our case study reports two unusual terminations. both cases, was located below confluence profunda femoris (PFV) (FV). Case 1 showed formed by FV; whereas 2 PFV joined after a transposition FV. Anatomical are rare; however, they increasingly diagnosed use duplex ultrasound. identification variants warrants safe endovenous procedure prevents surgical complications.

The Great Saphenous Vein-An Anatomical Study
The anatomical variations are more frequently encountered in the venous system particularly in the superficial veins when compared to the arterial system. The great saphenous vein is the longest vein of the body and represents preaxial vein of lower limb. The venous anatomy is of great importance to the surgeons and sonographers. The present study included 25 lower limbs during routine dissecti...
متن کاملA non-traumatic technique for removal of the great saphenous vein at varicose vein surgery
Varicose vein surgery is one of the commonest surgeries performed in the Western world. Utilisation of a plastic stripper and olive or a perforation/inversion metallic stripper has been used to remove the great saphenous vein in the thigh. We describe a non-traumatic technique for removal of the great saphenous vein that has minimal complications.
