Tension Subdural Hygroma Following Resection of Posterior Fossa Tumour in a Child

Persistent hydrocephalus is common in child after resection of posterior fossa tumours. Occurrence subdural hygroma, but very rare, with only few cases reported. We report the rare case a who developed tense hygroma stable hydrocephalus, early postoperative period, following tumour resection. describe distinctive clinical, radiological and pathological features associated development hygroma. also discuss management by cerebrospinal fluid diversion, which includes either ventriculoperitoneal or subduroperitoneal shunt. This unique condition distinguished from external that are critical to strategy.
