Tenfold way for holography: AdS/CFT and beyond

چکیده
The main purpose of the present paper is to lay foundations generalizing AdS/CFT (holography) idea beyond conformal setting. tool find suitable realizations bulk and boundary via group theory. We use all ten families classical real semisimple Lie groups $G$ algebras $\cal G$. For this are used several algebra decompositions: global Iwasawa decomposition local Bruhat Sekiguchi-like decomposititions. same analysis applied exceptional algebras.

Holography beyond the Penrose limit
The flat pp-wave background geometry has been realized as a particular Penrose limit of AdS5 × S. It describes a string that has been infinitely boosted along an equatorial null geodesic in the S subspace. The string worldsheet Hamiltonian in this background is free. Finite boosts lead to curvature corrections that induce interacting perturbations of the string worldsheet Hamiltonian. We develo...

The MIT Faculty has made this article openly available. Please share how this access benefits you. Your story matters. We study the dynamic after a smooth quench across a continuous transition from the disordered phase to the ordered phase. Based on scaling ideas, linear response, and the spectrum of unstable modes, we develop a theoretical framework, valid for any second-order phase transition...
متن کاملBeyond Budgeting: The Way Forward?
Beyond Budgeting has been proposed as an influential idea that will reinvigorate management accounting contribution in business operation and performance. It is claimed that the traditional system has lost relevance with the modern business environment and is no longer satisfying the needs of managers. Budgets have been ingrained in the culture of business since their inception in the 1920s and...
متن کاملOn-Line Metrology with Conoscopic Holography: Beyond Triangulation
On-line non-contact surface inspection with high precision is still an open problem. Laser triangulation techniques are the most common solution for this kind of systems, but there exist fundamental limitations to their applicability when high precisions, long standoffs or large apertures are needed, and when there are difficult operating conditions. Other methods are, in general, not applicabl...
