Temporary identification style of urban areas

This article introduces a new concept of ‘temporary identification style urban areas’ into design terminology and thoroughly considers the features term ‘city style’ related concepts. Such types as temporary an event permanent place are analysed. Both concepts considered on example city Kazan, in 2017 Kazan has applied for World Design Capital (WDC) status. Different elements expressed means visual communication within environment were systematised, such art objects, small architectural forms, banners, signboards, flags, unique landscaping. The city’s creation implementation principles developed. Thereby, each corresponds to one formulated, follows: space refers principle actualisation thematic renewal external appearance environment; infrastructure – harmonising subject-spatial cultural life public involvement creating image; sphere governance social partnership management development through design; informing information promoting is implementing everyday life.
