Temperature induced dynamics of water confined between graphene and MoS<sub>2</sub>

چکیده

Water trapped between MoS2 and graphene assumes a form of ice composed two planar hexagonal layers with non-tetrahedral geometry. Additional water does not wet these but forms three-dimensional droplets. Here, we have investigated the temperature induced dewetting dynamics confined The crystals gradually decrease in size increasing substrate completely vanish at about 80 °C. Further heating to 100 °C induces changes droplet density, size, shape through coalescence dissolution. However, even prolonged annealing dry interface. are controlled by cover. Thicker flakes allow faster diffusion as consequence reduction graphene’s conformity along crystal’s edges, which leaves enough space for molecules diffuse edges evaporate environment defects
