Temperature Dependence of Sorption

چکیده
Understanding how sorption depends on temperature a molecular basis has been made difficult by the coexistence of isotherm models, each assuming different mechanism and routine application planar, multilayer models (such as Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) Guggenheim–Anderson–de Boer (GAB)) beyond their premises. Furthermore, common observation that adsorption isotherms measured at temperatures fall onto single “characteristic curve” when plotted against potential not given clear explanation, due to its ambiguous foundation. Extending our recent statistical thermodynamic fluctuation theory sorption, we have generalized classical isosteric into clarified temperature. We shown characteristic curve exists sorbate number increment contributes purely energetically interface, whereas correlation between entropy drives dependence an isotherm. This rationalizes opposite water vapor activated carbons with uniform versus broad pore size distributions can be applied moisture starch gels. The is convenient variable for in ability unify sorbate–sorbate thermodynamics sorption.

Temperature dependence of I-V characteristics of C60 molecule
Making use of a generalized Green’s function technique and Landauer formalism, the temperature depended current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of C60 molecule, sandwiched between two metallic electrodes are numerically investigated. In addition, the influence of the electron-phonon coupling strength on the electronic properties of the molecule is studied. The I-V characteristics of the molecule ...
متن کاملtemperature dependence
This experiment was undertaken to investigate whether the half life of the β-decay of Au in a metallic environment showed any dependence on temperature as had been claimed in a recent publication [1]. An article describing this experiment has already been published [2]. Previous publications claiming to observe a temperature dependence of β-decay half-lives [1, 3, 4] have invoked the so-called ...
متن کاملTemperature Dependence of Delayed
The temperature dependence of delayed millisecond fluorescence (DF) induction curve transients was investigated. The transients were obtained by keep ing intact maize leaf segments in the dark for 30 to 300 s before illumination. The temperature dependence of DF induction revealed abrupt changes in activation energy of the recombination process. Those changes highly overcome the lowest en erg...
متن کاملTemperature dependence of plastic scintillators
Plastic scintillator detectors have been studied as dosimeters, since they provide a cost-effective alternative to conventional ionization chambers. On the other hand, several articles have reported undesired response dependencies on beam energy and temperature, which enhances the necessity to determine appropriate correction factors. In this work, we studied the light yield temperature depende...
