The present study aims to evaluate the advantages of a master-slave robotic rehabilitation therapy in which patient is assisted real-time by therapist. We have also explored if this type strategy applicable tele-rehabilitation environment. A pilot has been carried out involving 10 patients who performed point-to-point exercise supported three assistance modalities: fixed (without therapist interaction), local assistance, and remote simulated tele-rehabiliation scenario. will be using an upper-limb device that assists through force fields. results suggest provided better adapted needs than mode.
