Technological Capabilities, Open Innovation, and Eco-Innovation: Dynamic Capabilities to Increase Corporate Performance of SMEs

Currently, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a leading role in most of the world’s economies. For this reason, they seek technological competitiveness improvement their innovation activities. In context, open eco-innovation are important elements to achieve these goals. With background, purpose paper is analyze relationship between capability, innovation, corporate performance, testing structural equation model using SmartPLS sample 684 medium-sized companies Mexico. The main results show that capability significantly influences practices, not directly but through or eco-innovation. Our also confirm positive effects have on SMEs’ performance. These implications literature dynamic capabilities been previously tested. decision-makers, it shows why practices should be encouraged.
