Teachers’ Perception of Advantages and Disadvantages of Kahoot!

Many instructors around the world have been using different Game-based Student Response Systems due to rise in variety and availability of digital educational commercial games. Kahoot, one most popular among these systems, provides a game experience by combining theory intrinsic motivation game-flow with help audio/visual aids. In spite numerous attempts evaluate this game-based tool according, limited research has focused on teachers’ perceptions potential strengths weaknesses specifically GCC countries. Employing focus group interviews, study shed some light advantages disadvantages Kahoot gathering views teachers who work at Center for Preparatory Studies university Oman. Results indicate that although believe is qualified several positive features, it still suffers from which can definitely improve.
