Talc schist deposits from central Cameroon: Mineralogical and physico-chemical characterization
نویسندگان
چکیده
Talc schist deposits are reported in central Cameroon region, and different alteration zones were determined depending on differences related to the texture color of host rock. For purpose determining mineralogical physicochemical characteristics talc schist, a total 45 samples from sites studied collected analyzed using an array physico-chemical methods. mainly composed variable amount associated with plagioclase clay minerals. Three groups mineral association determined: i) small chlorite traces kaolinite, ii) high chlorite, iii) The have homogeneous grain-sizes classified as silty sand or sandy silt. occurrence Ni Cr schists consistent composition formed relation ultramafic rocks. genesis is due hydrothermal fluid circulation rocks, attested by S P.

-A new chemical mass balance technique has been developed for simultaneous mineralogical quantification and chemical characterization of soil clays. The procedure includes separation of the whole clay (<2 ~tm fraction) into six particle size fractions (<0.02, <0.06, <0.2, 0.02-0.06, 0.06-0.2, and 0.22 um fractions), chemical analysis of the whole clay and each of the six fractions, and fitting ...

As part of the Cultural Resource Management (CRM) evaluation process, fifty (50) Woodland ceramic sherds were selected by the Ft. Bragg (North Carolina) archaeological staff. The sherds were chosen so that they might give a sense of the range of variation that may exist within a single drainage and the differences that may exist between the river drainages (Table 1). The three river drainages i...
