Taiwanese engineering students’ self-efficacy and academic performance

Despite the popularity and importance of MOOCs in global education recent years, they have not become focus self-efficacy studies. In addition, most available MOOC research resides Western economies, Asian countries. No studies up to this point explored change engineering student before after finish a or relationship between students’ academic performance learning environment. This present study examined if there were any changes levels group students attended blended on English Technical Writing skills. It looked for possible differences with respect different demographic variables. A Paired-samples t-test helped measure scores at beginning end course. Pearson correlation was conducted examine predicted course grades Descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA used mean regarding Results showed that became more self-efficacious MOOC. Self-efficacy significantly performance. Students who reported higher gained better scores. Participants differed their relation age group, proficiency level, educational level. Suggestions future are made based results study.
