Tailored Particle Catalysts for Multistep One‐pot Chemoenzymatic Cascade in Pickering Emulsions

Chemoenzymatic cascades are an important tool for advanced synthesis in chemistry. However, these often limited due to the incompatibility issue between two distinct catalysts and reactions. To address this issue, we present a simple multistep one-pot platform, which nanoparticle prepared allow chemo- biocatalytic reactions performed sequentially water Pickering emulsions. The preparation of particle is accomplished just steps by polymer modifications [RuCl2(p-cymene)]2 coordination, while benefits using them chemoenzymatic multifaceted. They act not only as asymmetric transfer hydrogenation from acetophenone 1-phenylethanol with up 99% conversion 93% ee, but also emulsifier form stable By addition Candida antarctica lipase B into emulsions, second-step reaction enantioselective acylation was achieved 38% ee. Therefore, successfully method enable combining enzymes emulsions sequential fashion, can be generalized other cascade syntheses different biocatalysts future.
