چکیده
Abstract The present study examined the effects of small-sided and conditioned games (SSCGs) manipulating tactical rules (ball-possession [BP] vs goal-scoring with goalkeepers [GS]) pitch size (square [SP] rectangular [RP]) on running performance technical skills young soccer players. Ten male players (chronological age: 12.45 ± 0.51 years; body mass: 41.99 7.97 kg; height: 152.85 10.03 cm) were monitored using GPS units during SSCG formats. distance covered at different intensities number actions used in analyses. SSCG-induced changes 30 m sprint CMJ performances also evaluated. Compared to BP, GS elicited significantly lower distances low intensity (p=0.003; d=-0.95), more sprints (p=0.050; d=0.67), longer terms walking (p=0.035; d=2.60) sprinting (p=0.029; d=0.75); (ii) passes (short [p=0.002; d=1.10] long [p=0.013; d=0.82]) frequent BP than games, while RP game format allowed for greater occurrence (p=0.036; d=0.64) under SP condition; (iii) jumping did not change (p>0.05) In conclusion, demand episodes games. addition, formats can be increase aged 11-13 years.

Effects of small-sided games on physical conditioning and performance in young soccer players.
The purpose of this study was to examine, first, the movement actions performed during two different small-sided games and, second, their effects on a series of field endurance and technical tests. Thirty-four young soccer players (age: 13 ± 0.9 yrs; body mass: 62.3 ± 15.1 kg; height: 1.65 ± 0.06 m) participated in the study. Small-sided games included three-a-side (3 versus 3 players) and six-...
متن کاملEffects of pitch size and skill level on tactical behaviours of Association Football players during small-sided and conditioned games
In Association Football, the study of variability in players’ movement trajectories during performance can provide insights on tactical behaviours. This study aimed to analyse the movement variability present in: i) the players’ actions zones and ii), distances travelled over time, considered as a player’s positional spatial reference. Additionally, we investigated whether the movement variabil...
متن کاملEffect of the pitch size and presence of goalkeepers on the work load of players during small-sided soccer games
Small-sided games (SSGs) are spontaneous forms of specific training where exercise intensity can be manipulated by modifying external factors. To ensure suitable usage of small-sided games in practice, we have to know which variables can influence internal responses and external loads. The aim of the present study was to determine the influence of presence of a goalkeeper and the pitch size on ...

The aim of this study was to determine the cardiovascular, perceived exertion and technical effects of altering pitch size and number of players in recreational soccer match-play. The further aim was to evaluate to what extent exercise intensity during various game formats corresponds to the recommended intensity level for cardiovascular fitness improvement. Ten male recreational players aged 3...

Introduction: Training techniques, age, and climatic conditions may play a significant role in physiological responses of soccer players. Therefore, this study set out to investigate changes in the serum interleukin-18 (IL-18) and blood lactate levels of teenagers after playing small-sided soccer games in warm weather. Corresponde...
