چکیده

Background In order to characterize the biochemical changes associated with Ginkgo biloba treatment, at metabolite and pathway level, we used a state-of-the-art untargeted metabolomics approach in well characterized cohort of healthy non-demented subjects, or without treatment. Method We analysed data including cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) peripheral blood measurements proteomics, metabolomics, methionine pathway, lipidomics, minerals, miRNAs, sterols neuroinflammatory markers samples obtained from both groups, covering over 2500 analytes and/or molecules. Result Data analysis individual metabolic levels revealed differences expression 15 CSF level 25 blood, 13 unidentified miRNAs. Pathway enrichment these were an overrepresentation insulin signalling, platelet degranulation hemostasis growth factor signalling levels. Conclusion These results demonstrate ability this uncover patients undergoing further steps, will perform build multivariate models accounting for potential confounders multi-omics model, assess interactions between different biological pathways levels; approaches require recruitment additional participants gingko group. This also allow targeted omics explore alterations relate them clinical evolution time, cognitive decline non-cognitive symptoms follow-up visits.

P 137: Central Nervous System Involvement in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a complex clinical syndrome which its components are less clearly recognized and includes heterogeneous demonstrations engaging both central and peripheral nervous system along with disabling effects. This disease is called "thousand faces" due to these heterogeneous demonstrations. This gap exists while 75% of adults and children with SLE may dea...

[Systemic paracoccidioidomycosis with central nervous system involvement].

A clinical case of a patient bearing systemic paracoccidioidomycosis with regional ganglionic and oral exposure and later pulmonary involvement is presented. The patient was treated with specific drugs (amphotericin B, itraconazole, sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim) and followed throughout a 6-year period and eventually died showing an extensive involvement of the central nervous system.

ADENOSINE IN THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

Besides being a metabolite of nucleotides like ATP, adenosine is a mediator of neuronal function in the central nervous system. Its actions are mediated by at least three extracellular receptors. In this review different aspects of adenosine such as biosynthesis, release, inactivation and its receptors are discussed. It also covers pre- and postsynaptic effects as well as postreceptor mecha...

P124: Listeriosis in Central Nervous System

Listeriosis is one of the CNS inflammatory diseases which is happened majority in the form of sporadic. Listeriosis is ingested with the food. Infection occurrence in an exposed person depends on the number of organisms ingested, the virulence of the organisms strain and the individual condition. It is known that Listeriosis has decisive importance as an infection which the cellular immunodefen...
