چکیده
To identify the rate of post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) after isolated distal deep venous thrombosis (IDDVT) by performing a meta-analysis PTS across randomised and observational studies. MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Controlled Trials Register, Clinicaltrials.gov, European Union Clinical Trials, International Standard Randomised Trial Number, Australian New-Zealand Registries. This review followed PRISMA guidelines using registered protocol (CRD42021282136). Databases were searched up to December 2021 prospective studies reporting development included; these pooled with meta-analysis. The results showed 17% (95% CI 11 – 26%) (seven studies, 217 cases, 1 105 participants). Heterogeneity was high (I2 = 89%). On meta-regression, not correlated length follow (p .71). Three (302 participants) reported severity syndrome: 78% mild (Villalta score 5 9); 11% moderate 10 14), severe ≥ 15). risk IDDVT one in five clinical manifestations, including ulceration, 50. There significant clinical, methodological, statistical heterogeneity between substantial bias from trials support interventions for prevention are urgently needed.
