Systematic Perturbations of the Thermodynamic Properties in Cool Cores of HIFLUGCS Galaxy Clusters

We present an ensemble X-ray analysis of systematic perturbations in the central hot gas properties for a sample 28 nearby strong cool-core systems selected from HIghest FLUx Galaxy Cluster Sample (HIFLUGCS). analyze their features observed with Chandra Observatory. All individual our exhibit at least pair positive and negative excess residual image after subtracting global brightness profile. extract spectra intracluster medium (ICM) detected perturbed regions. To investigate possible origins perturbations, we characterize thermodynamic ICM regions correlations between The best-fit relations temperature entropy show clear offset one-to-one relation, $T_\mathrm{neg}/T_\mathrm{pos}=1.20^{+0.04}_{-0.03}$ $K_\mathrm{neg}/K_\mathrm{pos}=1.43\pm 0.07$, whereas relation pressure is found to be remarkably consistent $P_\mathrm{neg}=P_\mathrm{pos}$, indicating that equilibrium. These HIFLUGCS are agreement hypothesis cool cores generated by sloshing. also synthetic observations cluster created binary merger simulations, finding ratio agrees $T_\mathrm{neg}/T_\mathrm{pos}\sim 1.3$. conclude sloshing induced infalling substructures plays major role producing characteristic cores. ubiquitous presence may suggest significant contribution suppressing runaway cooling ICM.
