System Level Requirement Analysis of Beam Alignment and Shaping for Optical Wireless Power Transmission System by Semi–Empirical Simulation

Since optical wireless power transmission (OWPT) transmits by light, which has a narrow diffraction angle feature, it is strong candidate for systems supporting long ranges. To develop realistic operational OWPT system, clarification of system level requirements essential. In this study, to fill gap between the concept/initial demonstration and an required conditions were analyzed regarding effects beam alignment shaping on generation ratio efficiency factor with extension from formerly reported one-dimensional analysis three-dimensional include errors in all degrees freedom presented. This regarded as indispensable methodology evaluate performance general systems. Numerical are derived both non-cooperative cooperative OWPT.
