چکیده

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanotubes (TNT) were successfully synthesized using different N-containing ligands via hydrothermal method. Methylamine, ethylenediamine and diethylenetriamine with Ti/ligand molar ratios (1:1, 1:3, 1:5 1:8) prepared. As-synthesized TiO2 without also prepared for comparison purpose. The X-Ray Diffraction patterns confirmed the presence of anatase phase in all samples whereas sodium titanate was only detected containing ligands. Transmission Electron Microscopy images showed that promoted formation TiO2. Based on Tauc Plot, band gap energy shifted addition methylamine, diethylenetriamine. photoluminescence spectra sufficient amount ligands, intensity spectrum decreased, suggesting more nanotube reduction electron hole recombination rate. photocatalytic performance determined through photodegradation Congo red under UV light 6 hours. results suggested among materials, sample which contained ratio 5 gave highest activity 76.71% could be attributed to successful nanotube, its higher surface rate reaction low recombination. Diethylenetriamine efficiency assisting compared methylamine ethylenediamine.

Synthesis and Characterization of ZnO Nanotubes by Hydrothermal Method

zinc oxide nanotubes were prepared by a hydrothermal method using zinc nitrate as a precursor. The synthesized nanotubes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and their optical properties were characterized using UV -visible spectroscopy. The XRD analysis confirme...

Electrophoretic Synthesis of Titanium Oxide Nanotubes

In the current research project, sol-gel electrophoresis technique was utilized to grow titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanotubes. A titanium sol was prepared using organometallic precursors of titanium to fill the template channels. The prepared solwas driven into nanopores of porous anodic aluminum oxide templates under the influence of a DC electric field to form nanotubes on the pore walls. Tube fo...

Reinforcement of flowable dental composites with titanium dioxide nanotubes.

OBJECTIVES Flowable dental composites are used as restorative materials due to their excellent esthetics and rheology. However, they suffer from inferior mechanical properties compared to conventional composites. The aim of this study was to reinforce a flowable dental composite with TiO2 nanotubes (n-TiO2) and to assess the effect of n-TiO2 surface modifications on the mechanical properties of...
