Synthesis, Anti-Bacterial and Anti-biofilm Activity of New Iminothiazolidinones

Aim: Iminothiazolidinones are one of the important classes heterocyclic compounds and they occupied unique position in medicinal chemistry due to their wide range biological pharmaceutical properties. In view this potential activity, it has been planned synthesize a series New on benzimidazole nucleus study activity.
 Methodology: 1,1 dioxide- were synthesized with simple efficient method cyclic condensation aryl thiourea containing thiazole chloroacetic acid .This requires mild reaction conditions, procedure gives good yield.
 Results: The structures assessed by Infrared, NMR Mass spectroscopic methods. screened for antibacterial biofilm inhibitory activities against selected multi drug resistant bacterial strains.
 Conclusion: accordance results obtained, growth inhibition was found significant 5d 5e. Methicillin Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin Enterococcus (VRE), extended spectrum β‑lactamase (ESBL) producing Klebsiella pneumoniae have shown varied susceptibility towards these compounds. Biofilm Concentrations (BFIC) 5e 3.22 ±0.56 6.58 ±1.5 µg/mL respectively noted MRSA.
