Synergy of Road Network Planning Indices on Central Retail District Pedestrian Evacuation Efficiency

چکیده
Pedestrian evacuation is an important measure to ensure disaster safety in central retail districts, the efficiency of which affected by synergy road network planning indices. This paper established typical forms district (CRD) networks terms block form, structure and grade, taking China as example. The experiment was designed using orthogonal design (ODOE) method quantified time under different indices levels through Anylogic simulation platform. Using range variance analysis methods, density, connectivity, type width on pedestrian were studied from perspectives significance, importance optimal level. results showed that CRD will affect indices, connectivity insignificant (P 0.477/0.581) synergy; with wide primary roads (30.1~40.0 m), medium secondary (3.1~5.0 m/side) high density (11.0~13.0 km/km2) have highest efficiency. From perspective evacuees, this put forward urban implications improve their capacity for prevention reduction.

متن کاملOptimal Pedestrian Path Planning in Evacuation Scenario
Simulation of evacuation plans is a relatively complex problem. It is necessary to simulate a number of separate processes which interact in the result. Namely, they are pedestrian-pedestrian interactions, pedestrian-static object (e.g. wall) interactions and pedestrian-environment (fire, smoke, etc.) interactions. In this case, the evacuation simulation is controled on the microscopic level. M...

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Assistance of Evacuation Planning with High- Speed Network Model-based Pedestrian Simulator
Abstract As described in this paper, we analyzed the influence of the time necessary to begin coping behaviors on the damage caused by chemical terrorism. To calculate the damage of a chemical attack in a major rail station, our network model-based pedestrian simulator was applied with systems designed to predict hazards of indoor gas diffusion. Our network model is designed to conduct simulati...
متن کاملEvacuation Planning: A Spatial Network Database Approach
Efficient tools are needed to identify routes and schedules to evacuate affected populations to safety in face of natural disasters or terrorist attacks. Challenges arise due to violation of key assumptions (e.g. stationary ranking of alternative routes, Wardrop equilibrium) behind popular shortest path algorithms (e.g. Dijkstra’s, A*) and microscopic traffic simulators (e.g. DYNASMART). Time-e...
