چکیده
Abstract Background Entomopathogens such as nematodes, bacteria and fungi are well recognized for their biocontrol potential. This study was carried out to examine the insecticidal properties of Heterorhabditis bacteriophora Poinar, Beauveria bassiana Balsamo-Crivelli, Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner, individually in combination against 3rd instar larvae Spodoptera litura Fabricius (Noctuidae: Lepidoptera) under controlled laboratory greenhouse conditions at Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Results The results demonstrated that combined applications tested entomopathogens resulted 100% insect mortality conditions. Among individual concentrations, 200 IJs/ml were noticed highly virulent with (98%) mortality, followed by B. (96%) then (92%). However, single treatments also evaluated further showed a highest target pest H. , thuringiensis. plus (200 IJs + 1 × 10 12 CFU/cm 2 ) more effective caused (100%) (28%) than conidia/cm (34%) damage both, Conclusion Laboratory bioassay evaluation tests sprayed reliable fast synergism. could be recommended farmers control pest.

متن کاملBiocontrol efficacy and viability of Trichogramma chilonis on Corcyra cephalonica and Spodoptera litura under laboratory conditions
Trichogramma, an egg parasitoid can be used in controlling many lepidopteran pests. Therefore, it is necessary to demonstrate the capacity of these natural enemies in controlling the pest population so as to use them in biological control programs against the pest. Such an attempt was made in this particular study, where the parasitization rate of Trichogramma chilonis was tested on the eggs of...

Flindersine, an alkaloid isolated from Toddalia asiatica, was evaluated for their antifeedant, larvicidal and growth inhibitory activities against Helicoverpa armigera, Spodoptera litura and larvicidal activity against vector mosquitoes Anopheles stephensi and Culex quinquefasciatus. For this, leaf disc no choice method was used for agricultural pests; larvicidal activity was tested on second a...

Susceptibility of different biological stages of Spodoptera litura to various strains of entomopathogenic fungi was evaluated under laboratory conditions at Department of Entomology University of Agriculture, Faisalabad using the insect immersion method. Virulence potential of the entomopathogenic fungi varied with different biological stages of the insect pest. Eggs and larvae were comparative...
متن کاملAzadirachtin Affects the Growth of Spodoptera litura Fabricius by Inducing Apoptosis in Larval Midgut
Azadirachtin, the environmentally friendly botanical pesticide, has been used as an antifeedant and pest growth regulator in integrated pest management for decades. It has shown strong biological activity against Spodoptera litura, but the mechanism of toxicity remains unclear. The present study showed that azadirachtin inhibited the growth of S. litura larvae, which was resulted by structure d...
