Sustainable microgrid design considering blockchain technology for real-time price-based demand response programs

In recent years, rapidly increasing electric power demand and organizational concerns regarding social environmental issues have resulted in significant attention being given to microgrids. However, sustainable microgrids that simultaneously address economic benefits not been broadly explored by researches. This study addresses the microgrid design problem leveraging blockchain technology provide real time-based response programs. Three objectives (economy, environment, society) are formulated a multi-objective mixed integer-linear programming model. A robust fuzzy optimization approach is proposed determine optimal number, location, capacity of renewable distributed generation units as well equilibrium supply dynamic pricing decisions under uncertain demand, capacity, economic, environmental, parameters. The model solution then applied case Vietnam. We find technology-based can result 1.68% 2.61% increase profitability consumer satisfaction, respectively, 0.97% reduction impacts.
