Abstract Due to the increased food price volatility during 2007-2008 crisis and its aftereffects, self-sufficiency has been one of policy priorities in various nations, including Senegal, India, Philippines, Qatar, Bolivia, Russia. In addition, United Nations predicts that global population will reach 9.7 billion by 2050, half land may be utilised for crops agriculture worldwide would unusable farming owing climate change, soil degradation, poverty. The world’s is growing rapidly, so demand food. This highlights importance need investigate develop a comprehensive plan. study explores concept creating modular flexible self-produced system might potentially generate safe from organic plants using environmentally aware practises free pesticide residues without usage arable land. analysis phase comprises categorising challenges, while synthesis stage when efforts culminate creation remedy. Hence, more individuals start their own food, with hydroponics being popular choice.
