Selective laser melting (SLM) is a frequently used additive manufacturing technology for creating metallic, especially Ti6Al4V parts. After the production by SLM usually postprocessing necessary several reasons. Here sliding friction diamond burnishing applied as procedure.In this paper an experimental study of surface hardness improvement selective melted ELI cylindrical parts demonstrated. The modified machining. design experiment method was to investigate effect five factors (two and three machining parameters) on modification.It shown that both makes significant improvement, most important ones are power, scan speed during manufacturing, force factor postprocessing. Empirical formulas fit measurement data, visualized plots. Relationship between strongly nonlinear.
