چکیده

Excessive protein excretion in human urine is an early and sensitive marker of diabetic nephropathy, primary secondary renal disease. Kidney problems, particularly chronic kidney disease, remain among the few growing causes mortality world. Therefore, it important to develop efficient, expressive, low-cost method for determination. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) methods are potential candidates achieve those criteria. In this paper, SERS was developed distinguish patients with proteinuria healthy group. Two types commercial gold nanoparticles a diameter 60 nm 100 were employed prepare substrates analysis 78 samples unique patients. Data by PCA-LDA algorithm, ROC curves, gave results diagnostic figures merits. Sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, AUC 0.79, 0.89, 0.85, 0.90 set Au NPs, respectively. 0.98, 0.90, 0.91 The show differentiating between individuals clinical diagnostics.

Molecular Diagnosis of Plasma Phenylalanine in Neonates with Phenylketonuria Disease Using Biological Sensors Based on Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS)

In this study, silver nanoparticles were chemically synthesized and deposited on glass substrates using a reducing agent of sucrose, at 50°C. Different characterizations including atomic force microscopy (AFM), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and Raman spectroscopy were obtained to study silvery substrates. Then, the silvery substrates were used as the SERS substrates to de...

Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

Raman spectroscopy is the use of inelastic scattering of light to probe various properties of molecules and materials. Incoming photons interact with the electron cloud of the molecular bonds and inelastically scatter. During this scattering the energy of the incoming photon is shifted to red or blue depending on the particular process. This phenomenon is called Raman scattering and was discove...

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy.

The ability to control the size, shape, and material of a surface has reinvigorated the field of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). Because excitation of the localized surface plasmon resonance of a nanostructured surface or nanoparticle lies at the heart of SERS, the ability to reliably control the surface characteristics has taken SERS from an interesting surface phenomenon to a rapi...
