Supraglottic device for circumventing bag-mask ventilation in giant lip hemangioma

Congenital hemangiomas are benign tumors of endothelium most often occurring as a solitary lesion with predilection for the head- and-neck. This report presents case giant friable hemangioma lower lip in 1-month-old male child posted excision lesion. Airway management was challenging size, site, and history repeated local site bleeding made mask ventilation impossible. Bypassing ventilation, supraglottic device (SGD) directly inserted adequate lung ensured followed by C-MAC® video laryngoscope-guided intubation.
