Suicidal behaviors among undergraduate medical students in Bangladesh

Background: Suicide among medical students is a global public health concern; however, it often addressed poorly in developing countries like Bangladesh. This study aims to examine suicidal behaviors undergraduate Methods: cross-sectional analytical was conducted between February and July of 2019. Data were collected from 583 MBBS at Bangladesh’s private colleges. A convenience sampling method used, data through pretested semi-constructed questionnaire. Multivariable logistic regression models revealed that history suicide attempts or death by increased odds six-fold for over sixfold plan, threefold an attempt.
