Substitution Garden and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Plastic Waste as Refused Derived Fuel (RDF)

چکیده

The generation of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic and garden waste must be recycled to support the circular economy. An alternative way reduce plastics is this by converting it into energy such as Refused Derived Fuel (RDF) an for processing waste. Substitution opportunity analyzed. Hence, This study aimed investigate potential material substitution from PET RDF. RDF characterized test method was carried out proximate, water content, ash analysis. At same time, calorific value. tested bomb calorimetry. mixture affects each parameter pellet quality including water, ash, caloric value (sig.< 0.05). increase in pellets consistently increases 18.94 until 25.04 MJ/kg. content also invariably affect rate multilinearity model (sig.<0.05; R2 0.935). thermal stability occurred at a temperature 5000C decomposition hemicellulose, cellulose, lignin mixed with pellets. decrease terephthalic acid monomer raw materials occurs 4500˚C. finding can used basis consideration regions or countries that have plastic, especially type environmentally friendly fuel.

Waste Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE) And Polystyrene (PS) Into Fuel

Waste plastics are harmful, toxic, and non-biodegradable. Environmental impacts of waste plastics are raised concern about all over the world for safe and friendly environment. Due to dense population and environmental effects of the major city in the world dumping, incineration and land filling are faced difficulties and challenges. At this circumstances vast of waste plastics are remained vul...

Waste Polyethylene Terephthalate as an Aggregate in Concrete

This paper reports the strength behaviour of concrete containing three types of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) aggregate. Results are also analysed to determine the PET-aggregate’s effect on the relationship between the flexural and splitting tensile strengths and compressive strength and to know whether the relationships between compressive strength and other strength characteristic...

Flat-pressed wood plastic composites from sawdust and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET): physical and mechanical properties

This study deals with the fabrication of composite matrix from saw dust (SD) and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) at different ratio (w/w) by flat-pressed method. The wood plastic composites (WPCs) were made with a thickness of 6 mm after mixing the saw dust and PET in a rotary type blender followed by flat press process. Physical i.e., density, moisture content (MC), water absorption ...

Evaluating of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Production from Municipal Solid Waste (Case Study: Qazvin Province)

Considering increasing population growth in recent decades, and consequently, the increase in waste production in the world, waste management and efforts to reduce their harm to the environment has become an important issue. One of the appropriate ways to manage municipal waste is to generate energy from waste, especially by RDF production method. On the other hand, in order to reduce the consu...

Up-cycling of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) to the biodegradable plastic PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate).

The conversion of the petrochemical polymer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to a biodegradable plastic polyhydroxyal-kanoate (PHA) is described here. PET was pyrolised at 450 degrees C resulting in the production of a solid, liquid, and gaseous fraction. The liquid and gaseous fractions were burnt for energy recovery, whereas the solid fraction terephthalic acid (TA) was used as the feedstock ...
