Subarachnoid Hemorrhage: A Case Report

We reported a case report of 50-year-old woman with stroke hemorrhage due to subarachnoid hypertensive urgency, left ventricular hypertrophy, and dyslipidemia. Subarachnoid indicates the presence blood in space between pia mater arachnoid which usually results from ruptured cerebral aneurysm or arteriovenous malformation. The patient presents decreased consciousness preceded by severe headache projectile vomiting. In physical examination, we found emergencies positive meningeal signs, neck stiffness, Brudzinski. CT scan shows bleeding pontocerebellar cistern system. was diagnosed hemorrhage, intraventricular emergency hypertensive. hospitalized neurology ward Ulin Hospital for 20 days management antihypertensive, neuroprotectant, other symptomatic medications, ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery. then discharged home stable condition.
