چکیده

Aramid fiber-reinforced plastic (AFRP) composites are widely used in aerospace, rail transit, marine and military industries, due to their high specific strength, impact resistance, fatigue resistance excellent designable properties. In order meet different application requirements, cutting processes need be carried out, such as window opening, edge slit cutting. However, the characteristics of tensile strength toughness, low interlaminar non-uniformity anisotropy make AFRP a difficult-to-machine material. They prone produce rough surfaces damages including burr, wire drawing, delamination, resin burn, material flanging, etc. To solve this problem, ultra-thin diamond dicing blade was for high-speed sub-fiber scale research. The influence process parameters on force, temperature, maximum spindle current, tool wear surface quality were investigated by establishing force model, L16(45) orthogonal experiment, single factor range analysis variance analysis. theoretical experimental results show that with can obtain smooth without common damages. When speed is 91.11 m/s (spindle n = 30,000 r/min), depth 0.2 mm feed 5 mm/s, roughness Ra 32 nm, which realize precision composites.

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Bismaleimide Composites

Bismaleimide (BMI) resins are developed very rapidly due to the demands of the defense and aerospace industries. They are cross-linked polymers which process like epoxy resins but have an upper use temperature of 230°C, compared to the epoxy upper use temperature of 175°C. Also due to the available intrinsic properties of BMI resins such as higher thermal stability and lower toxicity than those...

Effect of Fiber Surface Treatment on Wear Characteristics of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyamide 6 Composites

Ozone modification method and air-oxidation were used for the surface treatment of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based carbon fiber. The surface characteristics of carbon fibers were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The interfacial properties of carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (CF/PA6) composites were investigated by means of the single fiber pull-out tests. As a result...
