چکیده
Introduction: Red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) is one of the herbal plants used as a wound healing drug because it contains high oleoresin and essential oil. also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties that can strengthen immune system prevent infection. For safety using plants, necessary to do toxicity test. Subacute test detect toxic effects after administration preparations with repeated doses given orally animals for 28 days. Objectives: aim study determine whether red extract effect on liver mice. Materials Methods: This laboratory experimental in vivo methods The Post Test Only Control Group design sample grouping Completely Randomized Design. 25 mice were divided into 5 groups, namely group I control, II V at 100, 200, 400, 800mg/KgBW oral administration. On day 28, autopsied, histopathological observations performed. data obtained analyzed Kruskall Wallis continued Mann Whitney U Results Discussions: control tended be normal conditions, treatment P1 parenchymal degeneration occurred, P2 hydropic 55 P3 necrosis while P4 occurred. Conclusions: had subacute dose 400 mg/kg BW, which was score 3 (hydropic degeneration) 800mg/kg BW showed 4 (necrosis).

متن کاملPartial characterization of an enzymatic extract from Bentong ginger (Zingiber officinale var. Bentong).
Extraction of protease from a local ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinale var. Bentong) was carried out. The effect of extraction pH (6.4, 6.8, 7.0, 7.2, 7.6, 8.0, 8.4, and 8.8) and stabilizers (0.2% ascorbic acid, 0.2% ascorbic acid and 5 mM EDTA, or 10 mM cysteine and 5 mM EDTA) on protease activity during extraction was examined. pH 7.0 potassium phosphate buffer and 10 mM cysteine in combinat...
متن کاملBiological Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles using Ginger (Zingiber Officinale) Extract
Plant extracts are very cost effective and eco-friendly and thus can be used as an economic and efficient alternative for the large-scale synthesis of nanoparticles. We report on the use of ginger extract for the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles. Bioactive silver nanoparticle synthesis was byreacting the ginger extract with aqueous silver nitrate solution at room temperature (27±2 C) and at...
