The regional development studies community increasingly focuses on the significance of agency when investigating why some regions or cities develop better worse than others. Undoubtedly, this line research increases our understanding relations and interplay between human actions socially produced structures. articles in special issue follow agenda by focusing purposeful meaningful efforts actors to promote their parts world.
