چکیده
Aircraft structures are made of thin-walled as it provides higher stiffness to weight ratio compared solid sections, but is prone buckling due its low and slenderness the individual element. One types that can impact integrity a beam lateral torsional which caused by simultaneous bending twisting cross-sections happens before beam's material strength reached. Therefore, design such structure should ensure applied load on does not surpass critical load. Moreover, modern aircraft laminated composites achieve specific strength. Thus in this work, an analysis composite performed evaluate cantilever beam. ANSYS used find results obtained from numerical method with previous analytical studies. Finally parametric study conducted for different layup stacking sequence dimensions best highest

Lateral Torsional Buckling of Steel Thin-Walled Beams with Lateral Restraints
Metal thin-walled members have been widely used in building industry. Usually they are utilized as purlins, girts or ceiling beams. Due to slenderness of thin-walled cross-sections these structural members are prone to stability problems (e.g. flexural buckling, lateral torsional buckling). If buckling is not constructionally prevented their resistance is limited by buckling strength. In practi...

Pultruded composite structural members with open or closed thin-walled sections are being extensively used as columns for structural applications l1Jhere buckling is the main consideration in the design. In this paper, global buckling is investigated and critical loads are experimentally determined for various fiber reinforced composite I-beams of long column length. Southwell's method is used ...
متن کاملThe effect of discrete lateral and torsional bracings stiffness on the elastic lateral-torsional buckling of mono-symmetric I beam, under the concentrated moment
When the out-of-plane stiffness of a beam is remarkably lower than the in-plane stiffness, the lateral-torsional buckling occurs. In this study, the behavior of mono-symmetric I-beams with discrete torsional and lateral bracings under the concentrated moment is investigated using the finite element analyses. Then, based on the numerical analyses, equation for the stiffness requirement is propos...
متن کاملBuckling Behaviour of Thin-walled Composite Columns Using Generalised Beam Theory
An extension of the existing Generalised Beam Theory (GBT), intended to make it applicable to orthotropic thin-walled structural members, is presented and discussed. The derived equations are, then, used to analyse the local and global buckling behaviour of FRP pultruded columns and the GBT results are validated through a comparison with numerical ones, obtained by finite strip analyses. Finall...
