A matrix isolation study of the fluorescence of anthracene and anthracene-ammonia adducts in solid argon
The UV absorption and emission spectra of anthracene in an argon matrix were measured. Three major spectroscopic systems were observed, assignable to anthracene molecules occupying distinct sites.
