Study on Sintering Characteristics of Ultra-Poor Vanadium-Titanium Magnetite

نویسندگان

چکیده

Artificial rich ore for blast furnace use can be produced by sintering ultra-poor vanadium-titanium magnetite (PVTM) with a high-grade iron concentrate. Here, acid (R = 0.33, 0.50), self-fluxing 1.10), and high-basicity 2.60) PVTM sinters were in sinter pot. Their performances determined using the comprehensive index. The microstructures of observed metallographic microscope scanning electron microscopy equipped an energy dispersion spectrum (SEM-EDS). results suggest that had low flame front speed, productivity, uneven size distribution, poor softening properties. It did have high tumble index (TI) low-temperature reduction disintegration (RDI). worst performance (TI, RDI, reducibility (RI)), while highest reasonable excellent properties, satisfactory TI RDI values. main consolidation form was crystal stock, bonding phase silicate, silico-ferrite calcium aluminum (SFCA). values (from to low) 2.60), natural 0.33), 1.10) sinters. When production capacity pellet shortage, 0.50) could surplus from plant. This replaced part burden structural model smelting vanadium so titanium adopt ‘high-basicity + V-Ti sinter’.

Influence of Coke Ratio on the Sintering Behavior of High-Chromium Vanadium-Titanium Magnetite

High-chromium vanadium and titanium magnetite (HCVTM) sinter has poor properties. The coke ratio has an important effect on the behavior of HCVTM sintering as it affects the mineral phases in the high-chromium vanadium and titanium sinter (HCVTS) via changing the sintering temperature and atmosphere. In this work, the sintering behavior of HCVTM mixed with varying coke ratios was investigated t...

Characterization and Pre-Concentration of Low-Grade Vanadium-Titanium Magnetite Ore

A large number of unexploited low-grade vanadium-titanium magnetite deposits have been found in the Chao-yang area of China in recent years. The reserves are estimated at more than 20 billion tons. A mineralogical study of raw sample indicated that it was a typical low-grade vanadium-titanium magnetite ore with weathering. Most of vanadium-titanium magnetite was replaced by martite and sphene, ...
