The seismic response characteristics of a lead-rubber-bearing(LRB) base-isolated structure under rare and very earthquakes were investigated. acceleration, ductility coefficient, shear strain the LRB increase significantly in comparison to earthquakes; particular, may exceed ultimate cause damage structure. criterion selected for optimum tuned inerter damper (TID) TID–LRB hybrid control system is minimization mean value maximum LRB. For each inertance mass ratio TID, there exists an tuning frequency damping TID minimize LRB, effectiveness increased with higher ratio.
